Health Education for Rural Women and Girls

On May 12, 2023, the Women Welfare Foundation successfully carried out a program on menstrual health and hygiene to high school students at Shree Ram Janaki School in Bardiya District of Nepal. The primary goal of the program was to raise awareness among high school students about menstrual health and hygiene. This included providing accurate information about menstruation, dispelling myths and misconceptions, promoting proper hygiene practices, and fostering a supportive and open environment for discussing this natural bodily process.
