About Us
Women Welfare Foundation (WWF) as a non-profit institution is dedicated to empowering women through education and promoting gender equality. We believe that every woman and girl deserves the opportunity to reach her full potential and to have a voice in the decisions that affect her life and her family’s.
Founded in 2022, we have a history of working to improve the lives of women in different parts of Nepal.
We have identified four important pillars to pursue our goals: Financial Literacy, Climate Education, Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Women's Health. Women Welfare Foundation provides comprehensive climate and financial literacy training, workshops, one-on-one counseling on women's health, and other educational services to help women gain knowledge, skills, and confidence. We also offer mentorship and career counseling to assist women in finding meaningful employment and pursuing their professional goals. We work with a variety of local partners to ensure that the Women Empowerment Program meets the unique needs of the women we serve. This includes partnering with local businesses and organizations to provide job skills training, sustainable agriculture and climate change knowledge, awareness campaigns, and mentorship opportunities. Additionally, we help with financial aid and scholarships to poor, marginalized, and left-behind girls to fulfill their education and potential. The Women Empowerment Program focuses on providing a safe, supportive environment for women to develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
