Empowering Futures: WWF's Outreach Event in Taplejung

On January 9, 2024, the Women Welfare Foundation (WWF) orchestrated a meaningful community outreach event at Bajogara Basic School, located in Phungling 6, Taplejung, Nepal. The primary focus was on supporting education, where school girls, aged 5 to 8 and mostly underprivileged, were provided with essential educational materials and winter uniforms. The event garnered immense community participation, with 90-100 students and over 100 parents in attendance. The outreach extended to more than 300 villagers, fostering a sense of community engagement and collaboration. Distinguished guests, including representatives from local government bodies and Bajogara Basic School's administration, attended the occasion. The excitement and appreciation from parents and attendees underscored the success of the event. Many expressed a keen interest in learning more about the Women Welfare Foundation, signifying the potential for sustained community involvement. This heartwarming initiative aligns with WWF's commitment to empowering women and girls and creating lasting positive change in communities. We would like to thank our volunteers and stakeholders for making this event a huge success.
